A Skal Europe Academy Webinar Exploring Challenges, Tools, and Opportunities with Key Expert Insights.
To foster a more equitable and inclusive society, Skal Europe is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar focusing on “Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Europe.” This informative event, hosted by Skal Europe Academy, will take place on March 12, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. CET and will be conducted in English.
The webinar aims to facilitate meaningful discussions on gender equality initiatives, inviting participants from Europe and beyond to join the conversation. Pre-registration is required, and all registered attendees will receive a Certificate of Participation.
The webinar will commence with an introduction by Tito Livio Mongelli, CEO of Galileo.it and President of SKAL Italy, followed by presentations from esteemed speakers. Susana Leal from the Instituto Politécnico de Santarém will discuss the Time2Act project and its impact on promoting gender equality through MOOCs and webinars.
Claudia Villante, a Senior Researcher at ISTAT and a recognized Gender Mainstreaming Expert will deliver the keynote address. Villante will share insights into the challenges and opportunities surrounding gender equality in Italy and Europe, as well as the tools available at both European and national levels to address gender disparities. Additionally, she will highlight the role of the European Institute for Gender Equality in advancing gender equality agendas.
Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session, fostering interactive dialogue and collaborative learning.
