At 3:00 pm, the Delegates Assembly convenes in the newly inaugurated “adventure area” of the Schafbergbahn. This remarkable addition, completed after over two years of construction and an investment of approximately 10 million euros, promises a unique and immersive experience. Skålleague Mario Mischelin will guide the proceedings, ensuring an informative and productive assembly.
Simultaneously, at 3:00 pm, accompanying persons will have the opportunity to partake in an enjoyable guided tour of the renowned pilgrimage church of St. Wolfgang, led by senior host Helmut Peter.
Come evening, the Gala unfolds at 7:00 pm in the historic Pacher Haus in St. Wolfgang. The evening promises a delightful affair, featuring the presentation of the Skål Austria Tourism Quality Award. An exclusive ensemble, specially curated for the occasion and themed “You can have fun in the Salzkammergut,” will regale guests with highlights from the world of operetta. The Gala, hosted by Skålleague Robert Gratzer, is set to conclude around 11:00 pm, leaving attendees with cherished memories.

Saturday, October 7, 2023 – “Capital of Culture meets Alm”
The day unfolds with a unique excursion, promising an engaging blend of culture and nature. Priced at €25,00 per person, this segment will be hosted by Skålleague Brigitte Stumpner.
At 9:30 am, attendees will gather for departure by shuttle bus from the Hotel Weisses Rössl in St. Wolfgang. The journey will lead to the Bösendorfer Hall in Bad Ischl, a hidden gem within the Post- and Telegraph Office that is not typically accessible to the public. Here, participants will be treated to intriguing insights into the Cultural Capital Salzkammergut 2024. Intendant Dr. Elisabeth Schweeger will provide an illuminating presentation on the current projects and background.
Following this, a guided tour of Bad Ischl, titled “Did you know…?” and led by Skålleague Noelia Torres de Glasser, will offer a deeper understanding of the city’s cultural and historical significance.
Lunch à la carte awaits at Café Zauner Esplanade at 12:30 pm, offering a moment of culinary indulgence.
The journey continues with departure by shuttle bus to the wild and romantic Rettenbachalm, situated approximately 650 meters above sea level. Here, an interactive guided tour of the alpine pastures awaits, providing firsthand insight into the production of typical alpine specialties. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate in this engaging experience.
The day culminates with a return journey to either Bad Ischl or St. Wolfgang, ensuring attendees have ample time to reflect on the rich experiences of the day.
