Dear Skållegues across Europe,
I am honoured to present myself today as the newly elected Skal International President of Berlin. My name is Moritz Freise, and I’m now one of the youngest Skal Presidents ever elected. I joined Skal International in 2019 representing my family’s Sightseeing Company here in Berlin. Today I am the Founder of nieds, a social impact booking platform for activities with locals, where we use the transformative power of meaningful tourism within genuinely authentic experiences to support local communities so they can benefit fully from their visitors.
As many of you know, Skal International is a global organization that strives to promote tourism and foster friendships among its members. As the new President of Skal International Berlin, I am thrilled to take on this responsibility and bring my leadership skills and passion for networking to the table.
My vision for the future is to connect Europe-wide, and I am excited to work with each and every one of you to make this happen. Together, we can make a significant impact on the tourism industry and the world at large.
I firmly believe that the travel industry has the power to bring people together and create meaningful connections.
