The International Skal of Madrid has been promoting for three years the International Congress of Religious and Sustainable Tourism that was founded by the Argentine engineer residing in Brazil, Rubén Moyano and that in the sixteenth edition of the event was held for the first time in Europe, more precisely in the Cathedral of Pamplona, Navarra, Spain, after fifteen previous congresses in different cities of Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Honduras.
Specialists from Spain, Brazil, Italy, Honduras, Portugal, Argentina and Lithuania participated. The participation of Skal de Madrid was made up of María Ángeles Rubio, professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University, with her presentation “Christian, kosher and halal tourism in intercultural dialogue through sustainable development” and the vice president of Skal Europe and Vice-president of Skal de Madrid the journalist Francisco Rivero, who gave the presentation: “Contribution of the specialized press in the promotion of destinations”.
During the conference days, a “workshop” was developed in which thematic destinations and service providers promoted their specialized proposals. Participants via streaming connection were able to access virtual business meetings.
